The Team

The EUC alumni basketball team, the Warriors, was created in 2015 to offer basketball fans the opportunity to compete in a sport they love.  Among the best teams in the Nicosia Amateur Basketball Championship, the Warriors have given sport fanatics not only a team to cheer for, but a group of people committed to charitable fundraising and community involvement.

Coach and visionary, Andreas Kokkinos (EUC Sports Science graduate, Class of 2011) and team leader, Andreas Antoniou (EUC Accounting graduate, Class of 2013) have contributed greatly to the rapid rise of the team to the first category of the league.  The team’s charitable events and tournaments have supported child cancer care and other important causes, making a real impact on those involved.
